Work when you plan to work

I get so easily distracted.

My good intentions of working and finishing a job are so easily distracted by almost anything interesting – online or offline.

Result – at the end of many days, I have only finshed half of what I had planned and hope to do.

That’s why I created ‘Steve’s PC Productivity Monitor‘ – to show me how much time I am not working, and how much more money I could be earning by working more effectively.

Now I can see exactly when I am working and when I am not.
What surprises me most is the consistency of the results day by day and week by week – unless I make a special deliberate effort to change the way I behave.
