Steve’s Image Resizer Frequently Asked Questions

Q? How do I find if I have the latest version of Image Resizer
A The Latest Vesion of Image resizer information will always be updated on this linked page

Q? Why doesn’t the image size change as soon as I change the height or width?
A Redrawing images uses lots of computing resources that slow down your PC.
As you edit the height or width value, rather than continuously redrawing the image, Image Resizer waits for you to finish entering a new size then clicking anywhere else to be sure you have finished.

Q? How can I let you know new features I would like added to Image Resizer?
A Please leave a comment on the New Feature Request page

Q? Which versions of Windows does Image Resizer work with?
A Image Resizer was created using Microsoft Studio 2010 making it fully compatible with Windows XP SP2 or later, Vista and Windows 7.
It does however require Microsoft  dot net framework version 2.0 or later to be installed on your PC.
This is installed automatically with Vista and Windows 7 but not with Windows XP (although it may already have been installed by other applications)
The Image Resizer Installer checks to see if dot net version 2.0 or higher has been installed and if not attempts to install this from Microsofts server.
If, for any reason, dot net 2.0 has not been installed, you can do so from this link to  Microsoft’s Site.
It may be necessary to reboot your PC after installing dot net.

If you have problems running Image Restaller installed before dot net 2.0 has been installed, simply reinstall Image Restaller again.
